Product Description Leather Suitcase, Chestnut

To put it modestly, our suitcase is a handmade piece of functional art. They're built one at a time in our workshop with the finest materials and construction methods we could find. The frame is a combination of wood and resilient, thermoformed polypropylene. The leather is hand-stitched using nearly indestructible waxed boot cord. It's more commonly used to sew the soles to boots. Every stitch is knotted in each hole, for strength. There are no wheels, because wheels are ugly and they break (get a foldable luggage trolly). The handle is bolted on and stitched with boot cord. The hinge is made from two pieces of thick, full-grain boot leather and riveted to the bottom. How many other suitcases would you want to keep on display in your living room when you're not traveling?
